More Still Waters

I looked down at my chart and at my stitching and realized that my red star was stitched to the left to far... I went the wrong direction... UGGG... I hate pulling stitches... but I did and then restitched and then added the peacock! Yay.

Happy Stitching!

Still Waters

The end of the day finds me getting ready to go to bed... but not after a very nice day.  Went for a drive & a walk.  Took Jake, the hound dog.  Oh my, that dog.  We have to keep him on a leash... every deer he sees he wants to chase.  We have a lot of deer and we don't want him to get into that habit.  So the entire time he drug me around.  It was exhausting! It must have tired him out too because when we got back to the truck he took a nap!
I got some stitching done on PSS Still Waters.  Check it out! ;)

Well, night all!

A finish and a start...

Well,
It's Sunday... and daylight saving day... so hope you sprung ahead last night... or your an hour late for something... ;)
I got to stitch the last couple of days... and I was able to get into my stash of linen a bit! Yay...
I started and finished this cute little stitch by Nathalie of The Blue Attic.  Click the link to go to her Etsy Shop!  She has the cutest little prim stitches!
I used the same homespun on the the back and I used moss brown hand dyed chenille from Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe

I also started Still Waters by Plum Street Samplers (check out her blog... Nashville pictures!)
I bought this pattern kitted with flosses from Vickie Clayton ~ Hand-dyed Fibers silks! I was so excited to see it with Vickie's silks that I jumped on it! I love the colors. I love the subject matter and I love the pattern!

Stay warm my friends!

He Is Risen Finished!

Evening All!

I finished the stitch He is Risen!  I used a linen that I coffee stained myself.  I stitched it to a lovely piece of grey/blue matka silk.  I mounted it to a board and plan to frame it.

Now... back to Serenity Harbor.  I've changed my mind.  I'm going to stitch it on a lovely creamy colored piece of 26 ct linen 1/1.

Almost done...

I should be done tonight.  Thinking on how to finish this stitch.  I'm going to see what I have for frames... I'm thinking stitching to a piece of wool or homespun and then framing it...

He Is Risen ~ Final color choice

Morning All...

Funny thing how we think we will like one thing and then decide... mmmm.... no.  I stitched 3 other colors before landing on this one.
Can't wait to finish... it should go quickly now.
It's cold here.  -4 this morning.  A beautiful "crisp" day...

Stay warm!
