Stash...

Don't you just love stash? lol... I'm waiting for more to come but the mail lady has been disappointing me lately!
I wanted to show you another MUST HAVE that I got just a while back.  Tempting Tangles CREATION  OMGoodness! I was stunned by it's beauty. It's calling my name as I type... I can hear it over there, but I must resist the urge!!! right??? you've got to support me on this one or it will be on the frame! lol  Here is Deborah's website http://www.temptingtangles.com/2010/01/creation-is-up_30.html and check out her blog also ,http://www.temptingtanglesblog.blogspot.com/  She's a very talented designer... I love most all her stuff!
I'm going to stitch this on 32 count Silkweaver's Desert Sky.  I ordered the silk threads from Vikki at HDF again.

It's so thick and soft and luxurious!  If you go to Vikki's site and click on Silk Packets over on the left... you'll see all the kitted thread packs for different charts.  I just looked through it again and there's like 10 packs for different charts that I just got... more stash wish list!

WIP ~ Resurrection

This was a MUST HAVE chart as soon as I saw it!  It is from Examplars From The Heart.  The linen... well, I'm not sure.  I had hoped that I would find a post on it here in my blog but alas just pictures no info.  It's a 40 ct but I'm not sure on the color anymore.  I started this last spring and then put it down to stitch stockings and what have you.  I just picked it back up last night.  I'm working on the sun right now.  Oh, how heavenly!  The threads are silks from Hand Dyed Fibers... scrumptious!  If you haven't stitched with silk you should treat yourself... hmmm... or maybe not... My only concern is the color of floss for the sun with my choice for the linen... do you think it'll be ok?  I suppose it's a little late to fret about... The lat thing I want to do is pull all those stitches... not to mention finding a floss to replace it with... hmmm... well, stay tuned for continued progress... (hopefully) LOL!

Bygone Stitches ~ Quaker Christmas and Stash

Ok, here's my ByGone Stitches ~ Quaker Christmas... obviously I'm not very far... I had to pull stitches... arrrgggghhhhh! I'm stitching on 32 ct Silkweavers "Days Gone By" 1/1... so pulling stitches... yuk! I'm doing it a little different... I added the blue which really isn't very Christmasy... but I couldn't resist! The threads are Gloriana Silk Luminescence: Black Cherry, Forest, Antique Gold and Midnight.

OOOO! Stash Report! Smaller picture is Thread Gather Silken Pearl... the bigger picture is more Gloriana Luminescence... I got that beautiful dark blue but then of course had nothing to go with it... I ordered the Sky Blue to go with it! Also, I added the purples and the green... absolutely GORGEOUS!!! ;-)
Isn't this just the prettiest picture? I have been "collecting" Gentle Arts, Cresent Colours and Weeks Dye for a while now... lol... so I snapped this picture... there is nothing more lucious than beautiful overdyed threads!!!
