My newest project... I found a tutorial through Pinterest

This is one of my WIPs.  I have had these blocks done for quite some time but have just now started sewing again.  This is on my design wall.  I actually have these blocks sewn together and the other branches appliqued on.  I just picked out the border fabrics.  I will take another picture later today for you all...
This pattern is from the book "Friendship Strips and Scraps" by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts.  This book is highly recommended by me! :)  This quilt is called "The Farmhouse"
I just love it!!! I'm planning where I will hang it in my house.
Until later...

The beginnings of my: A Gardener's Journal... designed by Hatched and Patched, fabric designed by Laundry Baskets (I love Edyta!!!)  This is Block 1.  The bottom is Block 9 (I started at the end! LOL)

Doesn't it just make you smile??? I love it! I can't wait to finish it... though that will be a while! We are going to kit it for the shop and maybe do it as a block of the month also!  Already have 7 people waiting for it! (better get busy!!!)
Until later,
God Bless

Maybe something like this?

 Good Morning!
Thought I'd share some pictures of wool... lovely hand dyed wool.  I have a friend who started dying wool as a business... isn't it beautiful??? She calls her business Montana Dyeworks.  Stay tuned to see what I create with all this gorgeous wool!  Also, soon to post my new quilt that I'm working on for the store!

Dads' Day and Projects...

Happy Father's Day!

Ok... so these are just pictures of the projects from the web... but 2 of the items I'm working on.  Both are samples for the store.  I need to get busy!!!
This is Amish with a Twist designed by Nancy Rink, fabrics by Marcus Brothers.
This is just the picture of the book... obviously called: A Gardener's Journal by Anni Downs of Hatched and Patched.  I'm doing this in Fabric line: Love Letters designed by Edyta Sitar for Moda.

It is turning out BEAUTIFUL! I have one block done... I will take a picture so you can see... too cute!

One of my favorite verses Psalm 19:14
Have a Blessed Sunday!

Beautiful Day...

Me and my baby... I was doing pretty good til the seniors each brought their mothers a rose... and that was about all it took.  Brandon wouldn't let go... pretty soon everyone in our row was crying and then the row next to us and the row in front of us.  He's my sweet boy.

Ok... so I have a pair of mountain blue birds... the male is apparently quite territorial... he has discovered an intruder and he is going to take him on... note the bird poop on my mirror... we have 3 vehicles that look like that!

Our day was very nice... we did much yard work.  Now I think it's time for some ice cream!
Have a blessed day!

Oh... I'm so ashamed.  I've been gone so long... are any of you still out there?
What's new with you???
Much has happened and is happening here.  My oldest son, Brandon has graduated from high school!
Wow, its crazy... it seems like it was yesterday that my class was walking down that isle.

I have been doing some stitching... some embroidery... some quilting...
I'm working on my craft/stitching/quilt room.
I started a new home based business called Blessings Unlimited.

I have a group of ladies that meet to do Bible study.

I hope you will continue to follow my blog... I appreciate all of you!
